sons, a father's hand; I therefore implored His Royal Highness's patronage for at least the three eldest sons, so that two might be admitted to the military academy as non-paying pupils and the third to some civil department, explaining also that for their age they were tall in stature and not lacking in knowledge.

Höghets förord för åtminstone de trenne äldste sönerne; så att tvänne måtte få såsom gratister inkomma vid krigs-akademien samt den tredje inom något civilt verk, upplysande tillika, att de efter sin ålder voro reslige till växten samt icke i saknad af kunskaper.
